~Working hard~

Since Thanksgiving I have been working very hard, creating new and meaningful ideas for my cards. I have been creating product that I just adore and love (and hope everyone else will too!). I have to give a shout out to my mother in-law who has given me a bit of a boost and thus inspired me to work harder and more efficiently. Here I have posted a picture of my first set of blank note cards. They are religiously inspired, I like to describe them as simple and whimsical.

Sorry picture is going to have to wait my computer is acting up....

Getting there....

Slowly but surely I will be there....
What's new?
1. I am slowly learning how to use illustrator, one function at a time and sometimes it can be by fluke!
2. I finally got a new printer to help aid me in personal messages as well as standard messages for the greeting cards.
3. A reason for a Thank you card.

I have always tried to teach my daughter (Laila,8) to be thankful for what she has, but sometimes it gets to be less meaningful when I'm standing right beside her saying
 "Say thank-you, Laila".
So, last year for every gift she received I made her write a little note that said "Thank-You..." for each gift she accepted from her loved one. This way people knew she got the gift they gave her and knew that it wasn't lost in everything else she had received.
This is a great way for us parents to make sure in all our crazy lives we still teach our children to be grateful for everything they receive no matter how big or how small!

Hope to have a collection of Thank-you cards posting soon,
Come check out my store!!!

~ The Beginning ~

Hello Everybody,
My name is Charlene creator of Charlene's Creative Closet. I have decided to start a small home business doing what I love, and that is to create!
Life couldn't be any better right now and I hope that what I do will become a success.
I'm very new to all of this so please be patient and hopefully I will be able to provide what you are looking for, I will also do special requests for personalized cards.
Currently my focus is on handmade cards, using stamping, embossing, and embellishing.
All my cards are made for direct shipping if life gets you busy, this is a great service!
(There just isn't enough time in one day to get everything done)
Even if you want to order ahead, I can schedule when your card will go out usually 10 days before the occasion, so that it isn't late.
I'm also providing a gift card service, if that is of an interest to anyone, just e-mail me @ moss.c@hotmail.com.
So, please check out my etsy shoppe and hopefully you will find something you love.
I hope you all enjoy my products and support the "stay-at-home mom".
Thank you for stopping by my little spot, Charlene.
